Maygrove Road is a commercial design and build project, taking an existing house and re-purposing it to accommodate 5 commercially high specification rented flats.
The project is particularly challenging because it comprises both re-use and new-build components. Most flat was provided with an outside space area to enjoy.
The works involved numerous extensions to include a full basement and mansard addition. The works included insulating the building, soundproofing and replacing all glazing. A further challenge was to meet fire regulation including a smoke shaft ventilation.
