ELEVATIONS DESIGN & BUILD

Once all the preliminary works are done the construction is ready to proceed. A skip will be needed outside your house (we will provide a license to be on the road if needed). We might need to hire other facilities for the workers. Below are roughly the main stages which are involved in the construction.

Digging foundation and having them inspected by the council.

• Filling the trenches with concrete.· Building six courses (layers) with engineering bricks and putting a damp proof course (DPC) to be inspected by building control.
• Building the walls.· Construction of the roof. · Widows and doors.· Installing any beams to enlarge opening.
• Construction of the floor (this stage could be done earlier, after laying the

engineering bricks)· Lighting, plumbing and decoration depending on the internal specification
